Tuition and Financial Aid
From its inception in 1968, Capitol Hill Day School has remained faithful to its mission of providing a quality education to a racially and economically diverse student body. The Financial Aid program directly supports this mission. We are proud that over 35% of our students represent racial and ethnic diversity, and 25% of our families receive financial aid awards.
While some independent schools have separate fees for activities, sports, maintenance, and capital levies, Capitol Hill Day School tuition is inclusive, and covers instruction, field trips, books, art supplies, and most materials for students. Some overnight trips or special theatre events may cost an additional nominal fee; however, no student will be excluded from participation based on finances. Optional services, such as bus service and the After School Program, are billed separately.
We realize that choosing an independent school requires a financial commitment and we strive to contain our costs while providing the best possible education for our children.
