We see computers as one tool among many to broaden the horizons of students. We have a computer lab as well as computers in every classroom. With nearly seventy computers available for student use (including more than thirty wireless laptops), students always have access to a computer when they need it.
Third through eighth graders learn specific computer related skills by doing projects connected to their math, science, history, art, or literature studies. Over the course of their years at the School, students learn touch-typing, word processing, spread sheets, HTML programming, desktop publishing, and use of the Internet. They also discuss, with increasing sophistication, the ethical issues that arise from technology use.
