¡Hola CHDS Fans!

Mark your calendar for Friday, April 30, 2010!  We are pleased to announce HAVANA NIGHTS, the Annual Capitol Hill Day School (CHDS) Auction.  Join us for Mojitos, music, and merriment as Eastern Market's North Hall is transformed into a Caribbean paradise for our island themed celebration.  With National Capital Bank of Washington as our generous lead sponsor, the auction will benefit our outstanding teachers and students and continue to build the educational excellence for which CHDS is known.  With its integrated curriculum, community focus and the finest field education program in the region, CHDS is truly a regional education leader.

Each year the success of our auction is a direct result of the efforts of our dedicated and generous parents, sponsors, item donors and volunteers.  You can support the auction and CHDS in many ways, to name a few:

TICKETS!  Come and celebrate with us on April 30^th at the North Hall of Eastern Market from 7pm to 11pm!  Tickets price: $75.00 and can be paid for online through the CHDS website, in person or by check.  Invitations will be mailed in March.

VOLUNTEER ­- Get involved!  Start the celebration early by joining one of the auction committees (Sponsorship Solicitation, Auction Item Solicitation, Event Night Setup/Cleanup, and more).  Click here to download the sign up form.

AUCTION ITEMS - Did you know that vacation homes and social gatherings donated by CHDS families and friends are the most popular auction items?  You can help CHDS by donating a week at your vacation home, hosting a party, or dreaming up your own ideas!  Click here for ideas from past auctions .  You can donate by filling out the item donation form and returning it to us at auction@chds.org or by bringing/mailing it to school addressed to the Development Office.

FAMILY/FRIEND SPONSORSHIPS -  Be a Sponsor!  Last year generous families and individuals stepped forward by becoming an auction sponsor.  Sponsors will receive a wonderful package of tickets, ads and recognition in event materials.  Show your CHDS spirit by considering this opportunity.  Click here to download the sign up form and outline of sponsorship benefits.

NEW! PREMIUM SPONSORSHIPS - Do you run or know of a Capitol Hill business or non-profit that wants more visibility?  This year we are offering Premium Sponsorships to enterprises that want to support CHDS and our community while reaching more customers.  Each package includes a combination of print, web and event night visibility, as well as listing in our Annual Report.
