Welcome to Capitol Hill Day School
START YOUR JOURNEY HERE!
We are delighted that you are interested in Capitol Hill Day School! This is the perfect first step in beginning your journey with us.
At Capitol Hill Day School, you will find curious and engaged students, warm and welcoming families, and expert and dedicated faculty and staff. For more than 50 years, we have remained a school for children, allowing students to take age-appropriate risks, and learn essential collaboration and critical thinking skills. We are proud of our close-knit community, project-based approach to teaching and learning, and our continued emphasis on social justice.
We invite you to visit, apply, and envision your child growing here alongside us!
First Step: Create an Account in Ravenna
You can stay in touch with us and learn more about our community simply by creating an account in Ravenna. The Ravenna portal provides you access to all-things admissions—it’s where you schedule tours and meetings, view and register for upcoming events, apply, and submit supplemental materials. We also look forward to sharing highlights of the dynamic teaching and learning happening on campus!
Next: Explore the Admissions Process

Health & Safety
Community is the heart of Capitol Hill Day School. We are thrilled to welcome prospective parents and guardians onto campus; however, the School's top priority is to protect the health and safety of our community. Should health recommendations change, we are ready to adapt and adjust as needed. Please note: in the interest of our youngest community members who are not yet eligible for vaccination, we can only offer in-person experiences for vaccinated adults. We are excited to offer a virtual experience in lieu of coming to campus. Thank you for your understanding!
