Thank you for your interest in Capitol Hill Day School!

The deadline to submit an application for the 2019-2020 school year has now passed. However, we are still accepting applications to some grades. Please contact Director of Admissions Kate Gallery if you are interested in submitting a late application.

Capitol Hill Day School welcomes visitors throughout the year. There are a variety of opportunities to tour the School and see our mission in action.

Note: Capitol Hill Day School is one of several schools in the DC area that uses a system called Ravenna for online applications. Through Ravenna, families can register for tours and other admissions events, submit an application, track the status of its completion, and view the decision notification when it is released. To register for an upcoming event, please go to Ravenna to login or create an account.

Open Houses

Open Houses are held once a month in October, November, and December. Capitol Hill Day School 8th graders and current parents lead small group tours. Open Houses include opportunities to see classes, and meet current parents, faculty, staff, and the Director of Financial Aid. The Open Houses are about two hours in length.

Open Houses 2018

While there are no more Open Houses scheduled for this admissions season, there is still time to visit the School! Click here to register for a Small Group Tour or Head of School tour.
