CHDS 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Graders spent the morning at the MLK Memorial, reflecting on their Black History Month learning, sketching, and recording their thinking.

CHDS 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Graders spent the morning at the MLK Memorial, reflecting on their Black History Month learning, sketching, and recording their thinking. In small groups, students analyzed different MLK quotes, and invited visitors at the Memorial to answer a few questions:
Curious students want to know: What brought you here? How far did you come? Check back for their results!

Honoring Martin Luther King Jr., and his legacy, and looking for inspiration for continued work ahead was a great way to wrap up this year's study of the events of 1968.
