Annual Giving

Tuition dollars alone don’t cover the full cost of delivering a great education. Annual Giving helps make up the difference and supports the many details that make our school such a special place to learn and grow.

That’s entirely up to you. And while what you give is certainly important, it’s just as important that you give. Gifts to Capitol Hill Day School range from $100 to over $​25,000 each year. Whatever your amount, we hope you’ll choose ​to make Capitol Hill Day School a philanthropic priority, because every gift, at every level, makes a difference.

Capitol Hill Day School accepts gifts by credit card, cash, transfers of stock, through student billing, and donor-advised funds, and more. You can learn more here.  Pledges to Annual Giving can be made at any time, and should be fulfilled by June 30, the end of our fiscal year.  

Gifts of $1,968 or more to the Annual Giving campaign during a fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) are classified as Leadership Giving at Capitol Hill Day School. Donors who contribute at this level will receive an invitation to an annual reception with the Head of School and Board of Trustees.

Annual Giving contributions of $1,968 or more are Leadership Level Gifts and will be recognized at an annual reception with the Head of School and Board of Trustees.

1968 Circle* - $25,000 and above 
Founders' Circle* - $15,000 to $24,999
Head of School Circle* - $10,000 to $14,999
Rose Window Circle* - $5,000 to $9,999
The Dent Circle* - $2,500 to $4,999
Leadership Circle* - $1,968 - $2,499
Green and White Circle - $500 - $1,967
Community Circle - Up to $499

Yes. Capitol Hill Day School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. (Tax ID: 52-0894477) Your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law, and helps support our students, educators, and community every day. Our fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30.
