There's Something for Everybody
EXPLORE THE MANY WAYS YOU CAN GET INVOLVED AT CAPITOL HILL DAY SCHOOL
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at Capitol Hill Day School is an enriching learning experience for parents and students. There are a variety of opportunities, adaptable to any schedule.
Supporting the Mission
Capitol Hill Day School relies on three major streams of fundraising: Annual Giving, our Spring Fundraiser, and the Capital Campaign. Throughout the year, Capitol Hill Day School volunteers reach out to parents, past parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and others, asking for contributions to support the capital or programmatic needs of the School.
Giving
Annual Giving is essential to the health of Capitol Hill Day School. Gifts each year from parents, grandparents, past parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and others help make all that we do here possible. Gifts to Annual Giving support Financial Aid, which provides need-based financial assistance to over 25% of students at the School. After tuition, Annual Giving is our largest source of operational support. Contact Shannon Ryan at 202-386-9881 or development@chds.org.
Spring Fundraiser
We celebrate our community at the Annual Spring Fundraiser - our biggest giving event of the year. We host this special event to unite our community of parents, alumni, local businesses and Capitol Hill residents in supporting Financial Assistance our exceptional School.
There are plenty of ways to support the Spring Fundraiser, from sponsoring the event, purchasing tickets, or volunteering. Parent involvement is crucial to the success of the Spring Fundraiser! Look for information about the event in your email in the fall. Contact Shannon Ryan at 202-386-9881 or development@chds.org.
