Spring Fundraiser

 

With disappointment, we write to share that the 2020 Boots and Barbecue Spring Fundraiser is canceled.  This was a difficult decision to make. We know what an important event this is, not only as a fundraiser for the School that we love but also as a way to connect and celebrate our community. 

I want to acknowledge the many parent volunteers who have, to date, worked hard for this event.  The ideas, creativity, and energy from this year’s auction committee have been unparalleled. I also want to give special recognition to our supporters, which we have included below. 

For those who purchased tickets to the event, the cost of your ticket will be converted into a tax-deductible donation in support of Capitol Hill Day School’s financial aid program. While we are happy to honor any requests for refunds, we sincerely hope that you will consider donating your ticket in support of financial aid, an area in the budget that is more important now than ever. To request a refund, please contact Shannon Ryan, Director of Development, at sryan@chds.org.  

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, donated items or sponsored the event. And thank you for your patience and understanding. When the time is right, we’ll come together as a community.  

And we especially want to thank Hill Country Barbecue for their support and willingness to work with us to reschedule for next year.
